Welcome to Droppe. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Droppe app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Droppe is a platform that connects subscribers with local delivery businesses. We facilitate:
- Daily subscription deliveries (milk, water, tiffin, groceries)
- One-time and bulk event orders
- Business management tools (inventory, drivers, payments, analytics)
- Driver delivery management and route tracking
Droppe is a platform provider. We do not own, produce, or deliver the products. Individual businesses are responsible for product quality and delivery.
3. User Accounts
Registration: You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
Roles: Users may register as subscribers, business owners, or drivers. Each role has specific features and responsibilities.
Account Security: Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Subscriber Terms
- Subscriptions are between you and the business you subscribe to
- Delivery schedules, pricing, and products are set by the business
- You can pause, skip, or cancel subscriptions through the app
- Payments are made directly to the business (cash, UPI, or as arranged)
- Container deposits are refundable upon return of all containers to the business
5. Business Owner Terms
- You are responsible for product quality, pricing accuracy, and timely delivery
- You must comply with all applicable food safety and business regulations
- Customer data visible to you must be used only for delivery purposes
- Driver management, salary, and employment compliance is your responsibility
- Droppe is not liable for disputes between you and your customers or drivers
6. Driver Terms
- Drivers are engaged by individual businesses, not by Droppe
- GPS location is tracked during active delivery hours for route and customer visibility
- You must handle deliveries carefully and record given/taken containers accurately
- Valid identification and vehicle documents may be required by the business
7. Payments
Droppe facilitates payment recording but does not process payments directly. All financial transactions (cash, UPI, bank transfer) are between subscribers and businesses. Droppe is not responsible for payment disputes.
8. Container & Asset Policy
Containers (jars, tiffin boxes, water cans) provided by businesses remain the property of the business. Subscribers must return containers as per the business's policy. Lost or damaged containers may result in deposit forfeiture as determined by the business.
9. Prohibited Conduct
- Do not use the app for any illegal purpose
- Do not misrepresent your identity or provide false information
- Do not interfere with the app's operation or other users' experience
- Do not scrape, copy, or reverse engineer the app
- Do not use another user's account without authorization
10. Intellectual Property
The Droppe app, its design, features, and content are owned by Droppe. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
Droppe provides the platform "as is". We are not liable for:
- Product quality, freshness, or safety (business responsibility)
- Delivery delays or missed deliveries (driver/business responsibility)
- Payment disputes between users
- Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our control
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to Droppe (platform fees) in the preceding 12 months.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via the app or at droppe.app/delete-account.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [City], India.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
